The course is focused on Level 2 and covers the integration of the ATO functionalities outlined in the new version of the Baseline 4 Release 1 specifications, since the future system configuration will be based on this.
CITEF sent Félix Ariza and José Manuel Mera, who have over 20 years of experience in ERTMS/ETCS, to São Paulo to provide the training, which involved the use of simulators to demonstrate how ERTMS/ETCS works in real time.
The course, held in November at the TICTrens office in Lapa, lasted a total of 25 hours and was attended by over 50 professionals from different areas of the company.
